Environmental and Biodiversity Commitment

1. Purpose and scope

This statement sets out the environmental commitment of xpath.global, including its commitment to protecting natural capital and biodiversity. It applies to all activities and locations of the company and complements its certified Environmental Management System.

2. Our environmental commitment

xpath.global operates an Environmental Management System certified to ISO 14001:2015. We are committed to conducting our activities responsibly, to complying with applicable environmental legislation, and to continuously reducing the environmental impacts associated with our operations and services.

3. Natural capital and biodiversity

xpath.global publicly commits to protecting natural capital and biodiversity. We are committed to identifying the negative impacts our activity may have on air, water and soil, and to progressively reducing them. As a services and technology company our direct impacts are limited; we nonetheless commit to acting responsibly across our value chain and to raising awareness among our employees and partners.

4. Managing our environmental impacts

Within our ISO 14001 framework, we maintain an action plan addressing, as a minimum, the following areas:

• Energy efficiency of our premises and equipment.
• Responsible lifecycle management of IT and office equipment, favouring reuse and proper recycling.
• Eco-responsible purchasing and supplies.
• Reduction of waste and responsible waste management.
• Digital sobriety, including reduction of unnecessary printing and optimisation of digital resources.
• Responsible approach to business travel.

5. Climate and carbon

xpath.global sets the target of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 at the latest. We commit to measuring and progressively reducing the greenhouse-gas emissions associated with our activities, beginning with a partial inventory covering scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, which we will expand and refine over time. We will develop the relevant indicators and integrate them into our environmental action plan.

6. Governance, monitoring and review

This commitment is managed within the ISO 14001:2015 framework, with defined responsibilities, an action plan and a regular review process. xpath.global is committed to the continuous improvement of its environmental performance.
