Episode Description

xpath.global joins forces with Worldwide ERC to present you our next xpath.NEXUS session: Digital Nomadism: new option for employees and its impact on global mobility!
Several countries – and the number is on the rise – are now focusing on attracting foreign-employed workers by passing work-from-anywhere legislation and granting specialised visas to digital nomads. This has created a new viable option for employees seeking to experience life in another country without permanently relocating from their home country.
With now in the excess of 15 countries offering this option around the world and many more coming, we are going to take a closer look at how these visas can be used within Global Mobility policy, as well as talent acquisition and retention strategies. Additionally, we will be examining how some of these Digital Nomad Visas can be used for purposes other than employee-initiated requests to fill current immigration gaps. We will be discussing the most important driving factors for the countries offering these types of visas, the benefits to the employees seeking to use this option, as well as the implications and opportunities to employers enabling the usage of these initiatives.
