As part of Canada travel regulations, currently, foreign visitors must take a pre-arrival Covid molecular test up to 72 hours before leaving for Canada. The alternative is to have a previous positive test result from at least 10 days prior. The test needs no more than 180 days before arrival.
Canada travel regulations: The government is considering eliminating testing requirements for fully vaccinated Canadian nationals who travel outside of Canada for short trips of less than 72 hours.
These travelers will have the option of providing a negative rapid test one day before flying or a molecular test within 72 hours of leaving Canada.
Unvaccinated Canadians must take a rapid test before flying. They also need a molecular test upon arrival at the destination and after 8 days. They must also isolate themselves for two weeks.
