FLEX has been delivering training sessions in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Edinburgh, bringing together GLAA officers, statutory services, and local organisations supporting cleaners from all backgrounds, to build their understanding of key employment rights, risks and indicators of labour exploitation in cleaning work, and how to access advice and support.

The TotalJobs survey of 410 trans people showed two-thirds (65%) continue to hide or disguise their gender identity at work, compared to half (52%) in 2016. There are warnings that without supportive policies, practices and culture for transgender people, employers could find themselves in breach of their duty of care.

Demands of Easier and Faster Track to Permanent Work Status in Canada
Quebec immigrant advocacy groups call for more pathways to permanent Canadian residence.
Many of those who attended the demonstration are temporary foreign workers, asylum seekers and international students who all want permanent status in Canada but feel there is too much red tape and say they feel the process is discriminatory.
